We have planted nearly 3 million trees in the past two decades and timber harvests never exceed timber growth. We manage for species and size diversity and restock areas damaged by fire and other natural events.

(WINNIPEG, Manitoba) March 3, 2010 — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy just named JELD-WEN Windows and Doors a 2010 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, manufacturing energy-efficient products and educating consumers about the benefits of energy efficiency. JELD-WEN Canada received the ENERGY STAR Participant of the Year award from Natural Resources in May 2009. This is the first time a manufacturer has been recognized by ENERGY STAR in Canada and the U.S. concurrently.
